A Chinese business delegation keen to invest in Ethiopia
In a panel discussion organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a representative from the Ethiopian Investment Commission Ato Aschalew Taddesse gave a detailed briefing to a Chinese business delegation on Ethiopia’s potential investment and business opportunities that would be exploited by Chinese enterprises for the greater benefit of the two peoples guided by the principles of mutual benefit and joint development today (April 4). Ato Aschalew Taddesse also highlighted that Ethiopia is keen to work with Chinese enterprises in areas ranging from textile, garment, leather and leather products and agro-processing to other fields of chemical products and construction.
Mr. KANG YI heading the delegation noted that Ethio-Chinese ties exhibit continued growth featuring a steady growth of economic partnership for more progress. Members of the business delegation on their part expressed their keen desire to invest in Ethiopia and take the business to business ties of the two countries into a new high.
