9th annual consultative meeting between AU, EU opens in Brussels.
The 9th annual consultative meeting between the Peace and Security Council of the African Union (AU) and the Political and Security Committee of the European Union (EU) ambassadors opened in Brussels today.
The meeting is expected to discuss current situations in Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Central African Republic (CAR), Somalia, Mali, South Sudan, Burundi and Guinea Bissau.
The AU and EU PSCs are also expected to discuss the partnership between both organizations.
EU PSC is comprised of ambassadors from each EU member state, while the AU PSC is consisted of ambassadors from 15 African Union member states.
